One disadvantage of DC current is it can be generated and transmitted only to shorter distance for instance within city.

Tesla thought that AC will be the best alternative for this problem.


Coming up with the new idea:
Tesla thought on how to use the Ac current to run a motor and he understood that Ac current is periodic and it is of sine wave form

so he thought that overlapping another AC current in different angle would solve the problem.

This idea lead to greater invention in his life later.

Joining Edision company:
Tesla migrated to America to join Edision company and he got his job in Edision company after a test by Edision to repair the broken generator


Reason to leave Edision Company:
Tesla leaved Edision Company since he considered Edision has fooled him by offering him bonus for completing a problem in his generator but as promised his bonus was not given so he left Edision company.


Tesla life after that incident:
Tesla found a job as a laymen in laying electrical cables lines around the city.

Life changing incident:
Tesla later came in contact with the Westing House Company and he got approved with his plan to use Ac current for powering a motor.

After his invention:
Tesla became famous in America for his new invention Electric motor.
And as a only person to fight against Edision Company.
The first project of building the world’s first hydro-power generating station in Niagra falls was won by Tesla for his AC current generation instead of DC current which was used by Edision.

Invention ideas that originated from Tesla are
1. fluorescent bulb
2. radio transmission
3. transmitting electricity wireless
4. mechanical oscillator
