The man who invented 21st century-Part 1

Thinking about the one invention that led to the technological advancement of the human race in this 21-st century  electricity come to the mind. The widely used type of electricity is AC (alternating current). Do anyone know who proposed the idea of using AC current for providing electricity ?

Have you heard the name Nikola Tesla if you already know reply in comment
else lets see who is Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla was born in 10 July 1856 in Smiljan, Lika which is modern day Croatia. His full name is Nikola Milutinov Tesla.

His childhood
he had a brother who is affected with a strange disease which has a symptom of showing illusion in front of eyes which has happened in the past. So his brother died in a early age in front of eyes of young Tesla falling from a horse. This event affected Tesla mentally.

He tried to find a way to overcome this so he started to practice not to concentrate on that he noticed the more he tried not to concentrate the more it occurrence increased. So he concentrated on the illusion and it made him to control it.

This special ability later led Tesla to become one of great scientist in world.

His studies:
Tesla had his interest in electricity so he selected the Electrical Engineering Course for his higher studies.

Being a student:
Due to ability to envision any thing he see in mind he used it to envision everything he studied in his mind. He sooner learn the fundamental of electricity and his interest turned towards the Alternating Current which was easily generated in nature but unused in his time since it was the period DC current was being used in world there are not much information about AC current so Tesla had to learn the AC current properties by himself.
